Based on a March 2024 survey of adult internet users in Canada, 86 percent of the respondents accessed the internet with a desktop or laptop. While computers are consistently the most common device Canadians use to connect to the internet, smartphones and mobile devices have also increasingly become a popular choice to go online, with their use jumping to over 70 percent during the last examined year.
