Perceptions on the health care system in Brazil 2024
According to a survey conducted in Brazil in 2024, around 40 percent of respondents said they trusted their country's health care system to provide the best health treatment. Moreover, around eight in every ten interviewees stated that they believe many people cannot afford good health care in Brazil, while three quarters said waiting times to get an appointment with doctors are too long. According to the same survey, only 29 percent of respondents believed that the quality of the Brazilian health care system is either good or very good.
