In 2021, the percentage of Colombians who wish, intend or want to start a business on their own or with partners in the next three years fell to the lowest level since at least 2012. In the 2021 edition of the survey, only 20.9 percent of Colombian respondents stated they intended or planned to start a business in the following three years, whereas in the previous year the share stood at 33.9 percent.
