The company specializes in products such as gasoline, diesel, kerosene, chemical feedstock, and other refined petroleum products. A significant amount of Sinopec’s revenue is achieved from gasoline and diesel sales. Over the past decade, the annual refinery throughput of Sinopec had been steadily rising and reached 257 million metric tons in 2023.

Sinopec's crude oil and natural gas production

In 2023, Sinopec's crude oil production reached 252 million barrels of crude oil domestically in China, while another 29 million barrels were produced abroad. As for Sinopec's natural gas production, the production volume has multiplied itself from a mere 441 billion cubic feet in 2010 to nearly 1.34 trillion cubic feet in 2023.
