Israeli public concern about the geographical expansion of the Israel-Hamas war 2024
As of April 2024, 61 percent of the Israeli public were either extremely or very concerned about the possibility of the war in Gaza expanding to other countries. On the other hand, only 13 percent of respondents were not concerned about the growing scope of the war. Similarly, many Israelis were concerned about the lengthening duration of the war. The Israel-Hamas war started on October 7, 2023. Hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah on the Israel-Lebanon border broke out on October 8, 2023.
