According to a 2022 survey, trans and nonbinary workers reported the highest number of average days worked remotely per week at 3.7 days. This is compares with 2.9 days amongst male workers. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many workers across the U.S. began working remotely for the first time. The popularity of remote work has continued as pandemic restrictions have relaxed.
