Value of cocoa beans exported from Africa 2010-2022, by country
As of 2022, Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana were the leading exporters of cocoa beans in Africa. The countries exported the agricultural product in a value of about 3.21 billion and 1.14 billion U.S. dollars, respectively. Nigeria, Cameroon, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo were other main exporters on the continent. On the whole, Africa is a key player in the global cocoa market.
