According to a survey conducted by the Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW), 42 percent of responding companies in the manufacturing industry stated that the organizational process changes that they were forced to implement during the COVID-19 pandemic made them realize that more tasks could be carried out from home than previously expected. In the information economy sector, more than half of businesses agreed with the same statement.
