First export partner in Poland 1929-2023, by export share
In the observed period, Poland exported most of its products, mainly to two countries. During the communist era, the leading export partner was the USSR. In 1965 and 1970, the People's Republic of Poland exported over 35 percent of all manufactured products to the Soviet Union. After the systemic transformation, Poland exported most of its products to Germany. In 2023, Germany held nearly 28 percent share of Poland's total exports.
