Perception of economic situation compared to the previous year in Malaysia 2020-2021
According to a survey of registered voters in Malaysia, 65 percent of respondents reported that their overall economic situation was worse in February 2021 than it was one year prior. This figure increased from 59 percent of respondents in July 2020, suggesting that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has negatively affected economic sentiment.
