* "Includes data from Washington, D.C., and the 35 states of Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. These states are those reporting data that have experienced 10 or more known deaths among Black residents. The 6 states of Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oregon and Utah are also reporting Black deaths, but have experienced fewer than 10 deaths each. They are included in ALL KNOWN DEATHS.
