Most important UK festival initiatives 2019
In 2019 waste reduction, improved security and eco-friendliness were voted as the most important initiatives by music festival goers in the United Kingdom. In contrast to this a smaller number of respondents felt that social initiatives such as a greater variety of activities, unique experiences and increased photo opportunities were crucial as well. With organizers and guests becoming increasingly conscious about the environmental impact of festivals, sustainability stood out as the main theme which a majority of attendees felt was as important as general safety.
