McLaren 720S Knutstorp record! 1.03.24!🔥

c3b2f4c83546.png?550x800m

It's funny how quickly McLaren's fly around, right?

The McLaren Senna would obliterate that time.

Anyway I believe the driver is Nicolas Kiesa a former Danish Formula One driver! Nice driving!

Ultimately a McLaren 720S was all that was needed! Well done!🙂

Hahahahahahaha! Watch the little Honda go go!

Obviously not stock but who gives a FROG, it definitely hasn't got hybridity assistance or a twin turbo V8 or (possibly) E85.

1.03:26 accordingly to THEIR description.

Colin Champan knew what he was talking about! Guess what they've got coming next? A revolution.

:)

(PS I came across and can't vouch for anything. But it's incredibly impressive. Whatever transpires.)

There seems to be some confusion about the lap times at Ring Knutstorp.
As I understand it, this page originally assumes a configuration without a chicane, and this one with a chicane - https://fastestlaps.com/tracks/ring-knutstrop-conf-2

So apparently Senna's laptime (and many others) should be into conf. 2, and Agera R laptime into this configuration.
In this case, Regera laptime is close to Agera's with the factory driver, which seems logical.

In the below video the braking can be heard around the 36 second mark for the cones arranged as a chicane. It's obvious seconds are lost.

So if the magazine IS using them continually (although I can't see why they would anyway) including testing for the Mclaren Senna then this would be a disadvantage.

All we've to find out is how and under what circumstances the McLaren Senna was timed.

But it doesn't appear to me to be a full factory manufacturer effort anyway. Proffessional driver? Don't know.

Different layout  3y ago

The Senna and most of the other cars lap times in this list, apart from the Regera obviously, are set in Scandinavian Sports Car of the Year group test by Finnish magazine "Tekniikat Maailma". They use an very tight artificial chicane though (can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZsa4VibW-0), which adds at least couple of seconds disadvantage. So it really isn't fair to compare Regeras lap times to those
