The interval act for the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest has been announced this morning, Martin Grubinger will perform a 9 minute piece with a big band and choir.
Martin Grubinger is an internationally renowned percussionist, and has composed a one off 9 minute piece including classical music with big band music, choral singing with percussion. The performance will also feature the Arnold Schoenberg Choir.
Mr Grubinger told Eurovision.tv that:
In this show we want to present how fascinating and diverse the Austrian music tradition is.
Last years interval act for the grand final saw all of the artists take to the stage to perform the theme song for the 2014 contest “Rainmaker”.
