Get in touch with us nowBetween 2010 and 2019, the L’Oréal Group increased its consolidated sales by approximately 10 billion euros worldwide. After a decade of constant growth, the company's consolidated sales fell by more than one and a half billion euros in 2020 and amounted to almost 28 billion euros. However, sales rebounded significantly in 2021 and reached to approximately 32.29 billion euros. In 2023, sales increased further to around 41.18 billion euros, marking an all-time high.
L’Oréal’s numerous brands are organized by division, a classification based on beauty consumption and distribution channels. Among the four divisions, consumer products have held the most substantial sales share until 2020, but in the latest years, an advancement of L’Oréal Luxe products in many regions could be observed. Cosmetic brands like Lancôme or Yves Saint Laurent that belong to this high-class division are becoming more popular amongst consumers, particularly in the Asian regions. Therefore, this high product demand is expected to further boost future sales figures.
L’Oréal is the largest cosmetics and beauty company in the world. In 2023, the company held a strong presence across all of its main geographic zones. However, if sales in Europe remained stable overtime, they experienced a notable growth in the North Asia region: the group's consolidated sales rose from nearly eight billion euros in 2019 to 10.6 billion euros as of 2023.
