RPL General Meeting took place to take on the following decisions.

1. To remove Ural Ekaterinburg, Baltika Kaliningrad and FC Sochi from AFC RPL members

Baltika and Sochi relegated directly as bottom two teams in the final standings, while Ural were beaten by Akron on aggregate in the relegation playoff legs.

2. To accept FC Khimki, Dynamo Makhachkala and Akron Togliatti as new AFC RPL members

Khimki and Dynamo Makhachkala earned direct promotion as top two teams of First League season, while Akron captured the spot through relegation playoff. Khimki promoted to RPL third time, while Dynamo and Akron will made their top division debut.

3. To agree the draw procedure of RPL Path Group Stage in 2024/25 Russian Cup

According to the Russian Football Union Executive Board Bureau decision, the following Cup edition will be held in the same format, as in the previous season.

16 RPL teams will play in the RPL Path Group Stage, which consists of four groups with four teams; top two teams of each group will advance to RPL Path playoffs, third-placed teams will move to Regions Path playoffs, and the bottom-ranked will be eliminated.

The date for RPL Path Group Stage draw will be announced by RFU later.
