The Uralic Phonetic Alphabet makes regular use of 180°-rotation to denote a reduced form of a given sound; where this results in homoglyphy, the character is rotated 90° anticlockwise instead. Both versions are found for ᴂ, as 180°-rotation is only minimally distinctive from ⟨ᴔ⟩ and from unrotated ⟨æ⟩.[1]
