Wikipedia:WikiProject Star Trek/Assessment

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page is for assisting with the assessment of articles that are within the scope of the Star Trek WikiProject. Articles are assessed based on their Quality and Importance.

Quality scale

[edit]

The quality of an article is an objective assessment of how "complete" the article is and is based on whether the article meets certain criteria. The quality scale is simply a tool to bring attention to articles that may need more cleanup to reach Good Article or Featured Article standards. For more information, please see Wikipedia: Version 1.0.

Importance scale

[edit]

The importance of an article is an assessment of how necessary an article is to our WikiProject's scope. It is simply a tool to help editors prioritize their efforts on articles that are in need to cleanup. The importance of an article within WikiProject Star Trek does not directly have anything to do with the subject's importance in real life or within the scope of other WikiProjects. For example, having a "Low" rating within the scope of WikiProject Star Trek does not mean the subject is not important, it simply means that other articles have a higher cleanup priority within the scope of our project. For more information, please see Wikipedia: Version 1.0.

Please note that this table is only included as a guide, and there is no formal policy on rating articles at this time. Please use this table as a starting point when rating articles, and remember to use good judgment and be bold when assessing the articles!
