[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Https---static.toiimg.com-photo-msid-94914126-94914126.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. Your submission at Articles for creation: Dunki (October 25)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process, as too soon. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft, and do not resubmit this draft or a similar draft until the events have occurred to make the subject notable. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will probably result in advice as to what conditions need to be met for notability.

It should be noted that the reviewer has not decided that the topic will not be notable in the future. An article on the topic may be accepted in the future. This draft will not become an article until the specified events occur for notability.

If this draft is resubmitted without discussion, or before notability has been satisfied, or if an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection by starting over, a partial block or a topic-ban may be requested against the submitting editor.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

This draft or article is about an unreleased film. The film notability guideline identifies three stages in the production cycle for films:

  • 1. Planned films that have not begun production (principal photography or animation). These planned films do not satisfy film notability.
  • 2. Films that are confirmed by reliable sources to have begun production, but have not been released. These films are only notable if production itself satisfies general notability in terms of significant coverage. Mere mention of the start of production does not satisfy notability.
  • 3. Films that have been released, whose notability is determined by reception and reviews, or a major notable award for excellence in some aspect of filmmaking.

This film page must be evaluated based on general notability of production.

See also Draft:Dunki (film) and Draft:Dunki (2023 film).

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:MV5BNzc1N2NkMDktNDBmNy00NDJmLWIzZGEtOTgyMjc2ZmFmNWEwXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyOTI3MzI4Mz.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 12:18, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Drishyam 2 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Please stop with adding "appearance" to "Cameo" in filmographies.

[edit]

Hello @Theriazz123. I am @Archer1234. I noticed this edit where the word appearance was added to Cameo in a filmography table. Adding the word appearance adds no information, knowledge or value. Look at the "Acting roles" filmography table in Example #2 at WP:FILMOGRAPHY. See how they use only Cameo and not Cameo appearance. This is from the WikiProject for Actors and Filmmakers. Adding more words with no added information is not a constructive edit. This is especially true in elements like tables and infoboxes where space is often constrained. Please stop doing this. If you have a question for me about this, you can ask me here or on my talk page. Thank you and happy editing.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 22:33, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Aparna Balamurali, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. You continue your practice of adding "appearance" to "Cameo" in filmographies even though you know that another editor disagrees with this and you have not engaged in any discussion about the matter. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and communication is required. This is disruptive. This initial warning seeks to get your good-faith participation in a discussion about the matter.  — Archer1234 (t·c) 11:45, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:DwQDVAzcjexg1HCDBeGEW0MoPth.jpeg.

Thank you. Salavat (talk) 06:40, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable non-free use File:John-Abraham-walks-out-of-Sajid-Khan-film-100-1280.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:John-Abraham-walks-out-of-Sajid-Khan-film-100-1280.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:MV5BNGY5M2UxYTMtNWUxZi00MDBmLThlOTUtODZjOWQ3YWUxMzUzXkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMjkxNzQ1NDI.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. License tagging for File:War2poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:War2poster.jpg.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:30, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:War2poster.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:War2poster.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 14:58, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
