Welcome!

[edit]

Hello! I've seen some of your edits, and I really appreciate the contributions you're making to Wikipedia. I'm glad you're helping the project! You may wish to consider creating an account. It's quick, free, and anonymous (you don't have to give away any real-world information about yourself).

When you're logged in, you can do many things that unregistered users cannot, such as creating new pages, uploading images, and keeping track of changes to articles you edit frequently. It helps the community, too — Wikipedians will be more likely to remember who you are when you have an account name! If you would like to check if a username is available, you can go here.

If you want more information on the benefits of creating an account, click here. And once you've registered, please drop me a message and say hi! Don't forget to sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~). GMXping! 21:10, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect this IP has edited Wikipedia before and has their own personal reasons for not wishing to create an account.--WaltCip-(talk) 13:37, 22 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Fenton (guitarist) at afd

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Peter Fenton (guitarist) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia. It might interest you as you have discussed about it yesterday. You're invited to post your view @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Peter_Fenton_(guitarist) . Carliertwo (talk) 17:52, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the fix :) just could not get my head around it, god knows why. ♠PMC(talk) 16:35, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I have no idea why infobox ship requires parameter names without underscores in them, it seems to be the opposite of every other infobox in existence. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 17:02, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Keeps us on our toes, I suppose. ♠PMC(talk) 01:35, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Problems with Twinkle

[edit]

1) I am using TwinkleMobile, when I use the full version the problems don't exist 2) Yes, the issues actually started roughly a couple of days ago, so the start problems may easily coincide with the installation of RedWarn and Lupin's tool. Kind regards 14 novembre (talk) 21:02, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Yamla Did you send this message to the wrong person? Did you mean to message the ipv6? I've never used an account and never claimed to own an account? I've been editing as an IP for years. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 10:29, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Yamla I think you might have misunderstood the message I left? When I said "This is Habesha212 editing logged out" I was referring to the IPv6 that Maestrofin was confused about. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 10:31, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did indeed misunderstand! I appreciate you clearing this up for me, thanks! --Yamla (talk) 10:32, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, 86.23.109.101,

I was stymied, once again, by the fact that there were over 20 cases at WP:AE and I couldn't seem to archive the old, closed disputes. I thought, "Didn't I ask a question about this at WP:VPT?" So, I went to the VPT archives and found Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)/Archive 216#Queries. You offered me some good advice and I just wanted to thank you for spending time to look over my common.js page and locate one of the problems. It was very thoughtful and I appreciate the response you offered. I removed the outdated script and installed one that will helpfully do the trick. Thanks again! Liz Read!
