Film Solo…

[edit]

The article begins with the statement “Napoleon Solo is a fictional character from the 1960s TV spy series The Man from U.N.C.L.E.”; later, in the section on the film it says, “In The Man from U.N.C.L.E., a 2015 feature film, Henry Cavill portrayed a character named Napoleon Solo”… Surely it should just be that there is a character Napoleon Solo, who appears in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., played on T.V. by Robert Vaughn, and in the film adaptation by Henry Cavill…? As written it sounds judgmental, or suggests that Cavill’s character is in some way inferior. It might also add to the article to mention that Solo’s name was derived from very early development work done by Ian Fleming, who took a name he had used for a minor character he included in “Casino Royale”. Not to mention that there is a criminal named "Napoleon Solo" in at least the movie version of Ian Fleming's Goldfinger. 2601:545:8201:6290:0:0:0:B7E (talk) 14:40, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
