I propose that this page should be split into two pages; Mollusca and Hypothetical ancestral mollusc. The section on the HAM in this article is quite extensive and I think that it warrants its own article. The HAM is not something that is necessarily vital to an article about mollusca in general, and would be better suited as its own subject.
