So, do you plan to end this fraud of a name being tagged only to take you someplace else? The bait & switch is a really shitty tactic. I am not at all a big Kings of Leon fan, but not having individual member pages after more than a decade is unforgivable. You moved on [[Fifth Harmony after 2 years. Not even Caleb Followill marrying a Victoria's Secret Angel in the form of Lily Aldridge is enough to motivate you. It is really sick how a girl group formed in less than a half decade has a full page and members too, but a band that formed when George W. Bush was in office is treated like such an afterthought. You need to address this.--68.192.236.111 (talk) 23:56, 13 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You wanna create an account and start the articles? They were AfDed some years back, but there is some potential. I'll think about it if you don't. ~EDDY(talk/contribs)~ 02:32, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Forgime me fo rnot being fully fluent in Wikipedia-ese, but what the hell does AfDed mean? And what is this potential crap? How big a band do these people have to become to be deemed worthy by your overlords so their members have their own pages and not be a bait & switch when you click on a name only to be taken to the band page? Can you see how scummy you people are being? After more than 10 years, you're just lazy. But you may ask what about Fifth Harmony. To that I say you move when a singer or band is the flavor. YOU should get moving on it.--68.192.236.111 (talk) 03:03, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, AfD stands for Articles for deletion. It means someone nominated his article for deletion and it was redirected. Regarding Fifth Harmony, see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Also, no need to insult anyone, you can be bold and start the article yourself. ~EDDY(talk/contribs)~ 13:45, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
So, the individual members had their own pages like a band page should, and you deleted them all? Why would you do something so incredibly stupid? I will insult you, because you people are jerkoffs for doing this, tagging something only to redirect people somewhere else. You click on the name Tara Hollis and you're taken to the 2011 Louisiana governor's race. RESTORE THEIR PAGES ALREADY, DAMMIT!--68.192.236.111 (talk) 14:14, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Calm the hell down. I didn't delete them, in fact I support them having their own page. Like I said before, YOU can create the articles if you create an account and create them. I'm seriously considering starting their articles again myself. What does Tara Hollis have anything to do with this? ~EDDY(talk/contribs)~ 14:40, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Because Tara Hollis is another bait & switch, just like Jose Peralta is a bait & switch. You have his name tagged, but you end up being directed to the page for Independent Democrat Council of New York. People get really pissed off when you basically lie to them. Not even Bon Jovi is safe from Wiikipedia's scumbag tactics. Even though he was an original member and joined them as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, yo0u have no page for former bassist Alec John Such. Truly scumbag tactics.--68.192.236.111 (talk) 19:27, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a bait and switch, see WP:REDIRECT. It's not "scumbag tactics", as you say, but an established practice. If you want to create an article on the Bon Jovi bassist, go ahead, but stop bitching about how there is no article for such and such. Wikipedia isn't perfect and it's missing some articles. ~EDDY(talk/contribs)~ 01:27, 15 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with the original poster. Wikipedia is pathetic in MANY respects, including little Napolean's stopping people doing things to make it better because they think they are the be all and end all. I'd try and improve Wikipedia but frankly, I'm too good to waste my time on it when some arsehole will just delete my stuff Sirhissofloxley (talk) 12:19, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
