Armenian Catholic saint?

[edit]

Is he not also an Armenian Catholic saint? And if not, why? 74.141.69.51 (talk) 05:16, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Most Armenians adhere to the Armenian Apostolic Church, which is an Oriental Orthodox church. There is however a small minority of Armenians who are followers of the Armenian Catholic Church. Gregory of Narek is a saint in the Apostolic Church, but I'm not sure if he is in the Armenian Catholic Church. --Երևանցի talk 14:45, 30 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"elevated"

[edit]

Is "elevated" a technical term? It is not in the article referenced. Perhaps "named", which is used in the lede, would be sufficient, or the "declared" of the article. Or perhaps the line at the end of the article isn't necessary at all, as it is already in the lede (and shouldn't the footnote go there, where the fact is first mentioned?) --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 17:45, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Overcited and nested birth dates citation

[edit]

Hello Yerevantsi, I would like to bring your attention to citation #16 of the current revision of the article, the citations are unnecessarily nested, and from my memory of checking them last year during the GAN; some have similar birth dates, how would we be able to improve this? Would you consider changing it to a short footnote (sfn) template with each source's birth date cited with inline citations? - Kevo327 (talk) 23:53, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kevo327, do you mean something like this? ----Երևանցի talk 18:39, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's a great improvement, thank you. - Kevo327 (talk) 18:54, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
