Economic causes - commentators

The last sentence of #2 Economic causes begins "Other commentators have said the modern journalism is increasingly being performed in a cheaper, high-volume way". Wondering if "the" in "said the modern" should be deleted or changed to "that" I found the references cited in the article^[1]^[2]{the article's reference for the latter is the book and page number but not the GoogleBooks preview page} don't specifically use a phrase similar to "modern journalism is increasingly being performed in a cheaper, high-volume way".

Would it be better to delete "Other commentators have said", look for another reference or move the GoogleBooks citation to immediately after "say".Mcljlm (talk) 16:04, 3 October 2022 (UTC) Mcljlm (talk) 16:04, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
