New Beat

There's a lot to be worked out over at the New Beat article, but I did do a little editing of the story here in the meantime. Despite all of the perspectives on how New Beat evolved, one consistent fact is that A Split-Second's "Flesh" was the definitive example of an EBM track that was pitched down to create the distinctive New Beat sound. It wasn't likely the only one, but no one has yet refuted that this track was involved. Once the genre article is better structured, perhaps a clearer version of that story can be ported here. -- t_kiehne (talk) 23:51, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
