João Luís Peixoto Ribeiro (born 19 August 1989)[1] is a Portuguese sprint canoeist who has competed since the late 2000s. He won the gold medal in the K-2 500 metres event at the 2013 and 2023 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, both held in Duisburg, Germany, as well as at 2014 Canoe Sprint European Championships. At club level, he competes for Benfica.
