Walter Stewart, 1st Lord Blantyre (died 1617) was a Scottish politician and judge. The son of Sir John Stewart of Minto and Margaret Stewart of Cardonald.

The next in lineal descent was Sir Robert Stewart Provost of Glasgow in 1528, and he was in turn succeeded by his son, Sir John who likewise filled the same by this time almost hereditary office. On his demise in 1583 the Estates and Honours of the Family descended to Sir Matthew.
