Are you here because...
edit- I undid one of your edits?
- I declined a draft you worked on?
- I marked a page of yours for deletion?
- I made a mistake?
If so, please don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page! I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Some fascinating details about me
editI primarily deal with anti-vandalism, copyediting, and a few other minor incremental things. Because anti-vandalism edits are semi-automated, and individually have a very low time investment, I may have less clue than you might expect. Finally, please note that I may require a healthy slap with a trout in cases where I am in need of a severe adjustment in my clue level. I offer free-of-charge convenience links for trout slapping: you have the choice between a minnow and a trout.
Current things
editI've come to the realization that if something leaves my line-of-sight, I will quickly forget it exists, so here's a list of Wikipedia-centric things that I've been working on, loosely ordered by how important I think they are:
- User:Perryprog/Disclosure wizard: A combination of Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard's nice buttons with the use-case of the Wikipedia:Article wizard.
- User:Perryprog/Multi-paragraph lists: The eventual one-stop shop for how to press enter after an asterisk.[Note 1]
- Module:Sandbox/Perryprog/xlink: A Lua module that parses a URL (e.g., a diff link) and emits a {{diff2}} (or similar) template. Hopefully it's even possible with the way wikitext output works in Scribunto.
- User:Perryprog/Alt talk header: I can't stand the prevalence of using tables-for-layout on Wikipedia. I'm creating an alternate version of {{talk header}} that uses flexbox instead.
While this list is mainly for me, I'm sure there's something in there that someone would find interesting. Having this list first thing on my userpage might even help encourage me to work on them more often :).[Note 2]
Important things
editPets are good. Here are some of mine:
-
Her name is Alice :)
-
His name is Badger; this is him one minute into a walk.
Footnotes
edit- ^ If you see this before it's finished, just remember to avoid list gaps and to not mix indentation—that's by far the most impactful thing you can do to improve accessibility within lists.
- ^ Wait, I'm procrastinating working on something in Wikipedia, but also using Wikipedia to procrastinate work in real life...?
