About me

edit

Hi, I'm Patient Zero! I am a 24-year-old Wikipedian and Wikimedian from the UK.

In my spare time, I like watching Formula 1 races (I am a fan of the McLaren racing team), as well as editing Wikipedia, of course! I also hold an undergraduate degree in law and a Masters degree in criminology; please note, however, that I do not give out legal advice online.

It appears you have stumbled across my user page; in which case, nice to meet you! Or, maybe we have already met, and you’d like to talk to me about something, in which case, feel free to leave a message at my talk page.

I created my Wikipedia account in January 2014, but started editing more between 2015 and 2018. I then took an on-and-off wikibreak between late 2018 to mid-2021 in order to focus on my law degree (hence the gap in my contributions). My work here mainly comprises reverting vandalism using Twinkle and Huggle, new page patrolling, tagging pages for deletion using the CSD criteria, and checking articles for accessibility issues. I may be found working in other areas on occasion, also!

I have multiple doppelgänger accounts, all of which were created to avoid impersonation by vandals, as well as a training account for my outreach work with Wikimedia UK and a public use account for when I am away from my personal computer.

I speak several languages to varying degrees, and welcome correspondence in French or Welsh, either via email or on my frwiki/cywiki talk pages. Doing so will not result in any delay.

I also have my own "policy" (not an official Wikipedia policy, but one which I have created for myself) which I adhere to with regard to personal pronouns, and using them to refer to other Wikipedia editors. You can find this here.
