en‑N	Australian & UK English	English Native speaker with wide a weird mix of strengths and weaknesses in written communication. I use too many long words AND too much slang. I'm working on doing that less. I can't spell, but i think this is just because English spelling is very inconsistent. I like that Arabic and Urdu use optional diacritics to show double letters and most vowels, those are the hardest bits to spell in English. I often do non-standard things, like lowercase "i" for the pronoun, but usually it's deliberate. de‑1.1	Deutsch	I can understand simple stuff, but i often need to look things up. I can get the gist if there are pictures or tables. My understanding is a lot better than my speaking or writing. I can't communicate even moderately complex ideas in any language other than English. I'm working on it, but i often end up on obsessive tangents. ar‑0.6	Arabic عربي العربية فصحى	I'm trying to learn standard Arabic and Egyptian Arabic, but i've not got far yet. Trying to spell in Arabic is helping me understand English spelling, i wish they'd taught me Arabic and Devanagari at school instead of just giving me lists of English words to memorize. I really wish i'd not let the dialects issue scare me off as long as it did. It's like not learning Spanish because French and Italian also exist. And i learned standard German despite there being diverse dialects of German.		ضThis user can read the Arabic script.
