Image request: Sheppard West (formerly Downsview) signs

edit

It would be great if someone could take photos of the new Sheppard West signs to contrast with what was there before.

Here's a photo: http://i.imgur.com/BheTUn8.jpg

Someone could add a photo to Commons. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 16:20, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Name change May 7, 2017

edit

Since the station name is now officially changed, I recommend moving this article to "Sheppard West (TTC)". Any objections? PKT(alk) 11:24, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Blue Night Bus Connections

edit

There is two bus connections that makes me think if they should be there

329 Dufferin 384 Sheppard West

For me a connection from a subway station to a bus, streetcar, LRT, horses, etc...I translate it as either the bus bay in the station, which Sheppard West station has and I used that bus bay to switch buses to go to college, the Blue night network (300-396 routes) are active when the subway is not. So technically speaking there is NO connection between 329 & 384 and Sheppard West station. Same applies to all other BNN buses/streetcars, they might pass nearby subway stations but the BNN buses/streetcars are never active at the same time as the subway system. So in a way...the is no connection. What do people think? I don't want to erase the two numbers, and in other stations without talk to others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MiroslavGlavic (talkcontribs) 16:40, 5 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

I certainly see your point Miroslav, but I think the comments in the table (ie, that the buses don't enter the station) are probably sufficient. By the way, please sign your comments with 4 tildes, like this ~~~~. Cheers, PKT(alk) 22:21, 5 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
I see your point, too, but I think it's useful in terms of if people are used to taking the subway/streetcars/etc, then knowing what BNN service gets them to (or from) the same place is probably quite useful. So it's a connection... not between the services, necessarily, but between the locations. —Joeyconnick (talk) 00:03, 6 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I originally meant the connections on that box on the top right, not the table down the article. I am ok with it, just wanted a different point of view MiroslavGlavic (talk) 19:34, 10 March 2018 (UTC) MiroslavGlavicReply
