Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 2 external links on GNRI AEC Class. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

The article UTA AEC Class (which has only one source mentioned) is more or less a mere duplicate of GNRI AEC Class, other than (likely unsourced) extra information for two extra power cars mentioned in the former. It would more beneficial if both articles be merged into one. CIE 2600 Class, however, must be kept as a separate article, as despite the AEC and 2600 classes sharing the same design, the latter has enough information and notability to warrant itself its own article. I second this. A unique page for the southern and northern railcars is just about notable enough to stay separate, but the page for the UTA railcars is just detailing the same railcars after their nationalisation. Actually, I think we should extend this to include the CIÉ page too, as 10 of the GNRI’s identical stock would end up with CIÉ after their dissolution. The two extra railcars mentioned in the UTA article either should receive their own page or be removed from the article, as they have little in common with the other UTA railcars. —TwinBoo (talk) 15:45, 29 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
