Daniel Blum's "Great Stars of the American Stage" gives her birth date as December 7, 1892. This may be correct as she was alive and well when Blum wrote this book in 1952 and knew a lot of the famous stage personalities covered in the book on a personal basis. 1893 pops up a lot as well but that may be because she has a late year birthday and writers just round it off to the next year without checking. Im tending to go with Blum as he knew her and she would know her own birth date better than anyone, but Ill leave it for now. Koplimek (talk) 02:25, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
