editCarol Yinghua Lu is one of the preeminent contemporary art curators in Asia.
Carol Yinghua Lu has led projects in collaboration with Hans Ulrich Obrist, the Raqs Media Collective, Hu Fang, Boris Groys, Jörg Heiser, Cuauhtémoc Medina, Martha Rosler, Gao Shiming and Jan Verwoert. She has curated artists including Louise Bourgeois, Francesco Clemente, Béatrice Cussol, Chen Man, Jan Saudek, Rosemarie Trockel, Andy Warhol, Gao Yu, Zhuang Hui, Chen Shaoxiong, Leng Wen, Yan Xing, Lu Zhengyuan and Dan'er.
Lu is one of China's most active and dynamic curators and critics. She is on the selection panel for this year's Golden Lion Award at the Venice Biennale. Through her prolific writing on the arts she provides critical documentation of emerging artists across Asia, often exploring the impact of Asia's (and particularly China′s) political, financial and creative conditions on its artists, critics, curators and gallerists.

This page was proposed for deletion by an editor in the past with the comment: My searches have simply found nothing better including attempts at Chinese newspapers, there's no inherited notability from any events and people she worked with and this is still questionable for solid independent notability. It was contested by Kvng (talk · contribs) on 2016-07-01 with the comment: Evidence of notability in cited sources, specifically: [1] and [2] |
