This Privacy Policy, together with our terms of use, explains what happens to any personal data that you provide to us, or that we collect from you when you are using this website or the EuroVelo smartphone application.

The European Cyclists' Federation is committed to providing a clear and transparent explanation about how we collect and use your information, and your options to update or modify that data. We update our Privacy Policy from time to time, so please return and review this Policy regularly.

This processing is necessary for statistical purposes and is carried out in the public interest, in order to find out which EuroVelo routes are the most popular ones and in which routes we should put more effort.
  • To provide you with information requested from us and related to our services, or information on other activities which we feel may be of interest to you, if you have consented to receive such information. The basis of this processing is the consent given by users who sign up to our newsletter, and the email addresses processed are not used in any other way than this specific purpose.
  • To provide geo-location functionality on the EuroVelo smartphone application. The basis of this processing is the consent given by the user and the delivery of location-related services benefiting the user.
  • To send you gifts after you have made a donation to us. The basis for this processing is the consent given when making the donation.
  • To meet our contractual commitments to you. The basis for this processing is to perform the contract with you related to these activities or services.
