The Troikas are supporting characters in Disney•Pixar's Toy Story franchise. They are a set of five plastic mute egg-shaped toys in the style of a Matryoshka doll with a picture of five animals: dog (largest), cat (second largest), duck (medium), fish (second smallest) and ladybug (smallest).

- "Inspired by Russian nesting dolls, these brightly painted, egg-shaped toys nest inside one another. The largest is a bulldog. A cat nests inside him. The cat troika holds a duck, which holds a goldfish. The goldfish holds a tiny ladybug. Andy might use them to represent animals in his adventures. Somewhat shy and fearful, the troikas jump into each other to hide when they hear that Sid has come home early from summer camp."[1]

Toy Story[]
In Toy Story, The Troikas are first seen when Slinky was gathering everyone together for a staff meeting. When Sid's voice was heard, the Troikas were so frightened they promptly hid inside each other. The Troikas are not seen again until the end of the film, appearing alongside Andy's other toys before hearing what presents Andy receives for Christmas.
Toy Story Treats[]
The Troikas appear in Shell Game as part of Robot's trick to Rex.
Toy Story 2[]
In Toy Story 2, when Buster comes into Andy's room, the Troikas are seen being knocked out of each other by Buster while searching for Woody. Buzz later says their names during an emergency roll call due to a yard sale occurring. Later, The Troikas (specifically the dog and the cat Troikas) are seen watching the re-enactment of Woody's kidnapping after Woody was stolen, and the cat Troikas alongside Hamm is very shocked upon discovering that it was Al McWhiggin from Al's Toy Barn. They are last seen listening to Wheezy singing "You've Got a Friend in Me".
Toy Story 3[]
The Troikas were one of the only toys not seen in the series of home movies at the beginning of Toy Story 3. It is unknown what happened to the Troikas between Toy Story 2 and 3.
Trivia[]
- The Troikas appeared in Shell Game, an episode of Toy Story Treats, but without the goldfish.
- All five of the Troikas appear in the opening scene of Toy Story Mania! in 2009.
- The Troikas appear on some of the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command intros.
