Toy Story Drop! was a mobile game developed and published by Big Fish Games in association with Game Forest. It was a match-three game that involved the player making matches in a format similar to other games, such as Candy Crush Saga, Cookie Jam Blast, or other similar game titles. The game was released on May 30, 2019, one month before the theatrical release of Toy Story 4. On August 2, 2021, it was announced that the game would be shut down on August 31, 2021.[1]

Gameplay[]
Throughout the game, the player must help the toys begin their adventures inspired from scenes in the Toy Story film series. The player must complete a number of levels to help the toys continue their adventures such as playing match-3 levels. The more the player makes better matches throughout gameplay, the more the power-ups he/she will make throughout the game. Occasionally, optional boosts are available to use throughout gameplay in case the level becomes difficult. The player can buy extra boosts for coins or via bundles for real-world money at the Shop. Along the way throughout the game, the player can find additional items required to unlock character playsets, which are optional bonus stories the player can play.
To advance further, the player must earn a number of batteries required to progress to a new scene. If the player does not have enough batteries to progress, the player can earn more by replaying levels or by going to the Battery Shop to buy extra batteries with coins. The more the player advances, the scene gets harder to complete as further levels feature various types of elements the player will encounter, making gameplay a bit more difficult.

Powerups[]
In Toy Story Drop, there are several powerups that can be formed on the board or can be found in chests and could've been purchased for coins before August 30, 2021. Using powerups formed on the board cost 1 move, while ones obtained in other ways do not cost moves.
“Big One” Rocket[]
The “Big One” Rocket is a powerup that can be formed on the board. If four pieces are matched into a 2x2 square, a rocket will form. When used, it will effect/clear/trigger the four squares around it, and it will target one random piece (like a heat-seeking missile) that is important to the level’s objective.
Jack-In-The-Box[]
The Jack-In-The-Box is a powerup that can be formed on the board. There are two variants of this powerup, an up/down and left/right variant. If four pieces are matched into a horizontal line, an up/down Jack-In-The-Box will form. If four pieces are matched into a vertical line, a left/right Jack-In-The-Box will form. When used, it will effect/clear/trigger the entire row it is in for the left/right variant, and it will effect/clear/trigger the entire column it is in for the up/down variant.
Luxo Ball[]
The Luxo Ball is a powerup that can be formed on the board. If 5 pieces are matched into an L shape or T shape, a Luxo Ball will form. When used, it will bounce and then effect/clear/trigger a diamond of squares around it.
Disco Ball[]
The Disco Ball is a powerup that can be formed on the board. If 5 pieces are matched into horizontal or vertical line, a Disco Ball will form. When used, it will eliminate every identical piece in which it was matched with. A small area around every piece that is cleared will be effected/triggered.
The Claw[]
The Claw is a powerup that can be found in chests or could've been purchased for coins before the game’s shutdown. When used, you will be prompted to select any two pieces. Once selected, The Claw swaps those two pieces you picked on the board.
Flying Saucer[]
The Flying Saucer is a powerup that can be found in chests or could've been purchased for coins before the game’s shutdown. When used, you will be prompted to select any piece. Once selected, the flying saucer “abducts” the piece you picked off the board.
Etch-a-Sketch (Shuffle)[]
Etch-a-Sketch is a powerup that can be found in chests or could've been purchased for coins before the game’s shutdown. When used, it will instantly shuffle the entire board. The Etch-a-Sketch also automatically shuffles the board when there are no matches, however this can happen even without a powerup in your inventory.
Powerup Combos[]
Powerups formed on the board can also be combined to create greater effects! Here is a list of effects that can be created:
- Rocket+Rocket: Generates 3 rockets instead of 2.
- Rocket+Jack-In-The-Box: The Rocket will target a random piece, but instead of only one piece being cleared, the entire row/column is cleared, depending on the Jack-In-The-Box variant.
- Jack-In-The-Box+Jack-In-The-Box: Creates the same effect as normal, but goes both horizontal and vertical, no matter which variants are combined.
- TBA
- TBA
- Disco Ball+Anything other than Disco Ball: Generates a random amount of the powerup it is combined with, and sets them all off at the same time.
- Disco Ball+Disco Ball: Clears the whole board.
