The Darknet houses many websites that went out of order and the inhabitants of the Darknet are very sketchy and sometimes dangerous as the businesses of the Darknet are often considered to be very illegal and often a threat to the whole internet. Pop-up advertiser JP Spamley takes Wreck-It Ralph to the Darknet to meet with virus vendor Double Dan, who produces Arthur the Insecurity Virus as Ralph plans to use him to mess with the online game Slaughter Race as his friend Vanellope von Schweetz wants to reside there rather than go back to Litwak's Arcade and return to her game Sugar Rush.
