"Heart of the Jaguar" is the seventy-fourth episode of the Disney Channel animated series Elena of Avalor. It premiered on August 2, 2020, and is the twenty-fifth episode in the third season.
Plot[]
Isabel is taking care of Peaches in the throne room. Elena is showing her little sister her outfits so she can pick which one to wear for her Coronation. Suddenly, Luna flies in and tells the Princesses that Quita Moz wants to see them, not just Elena this time. The three of them set off for Vallestrella. Elena and Isabel arrive at Quita Moz's place on Luna. Once they're inside, Quita Moz appears before them. Quita Moz tells Elena the time for her test to become Queen of Avalor has come. He also tells Elena the flames showed him Isabel on the throne, a bad omen regarding Elena's test since Isabel is the heir to the throne. Isabel is frightened by the thought of herself on the throne. Quita Moz tells her having the Heart of the Jaguar will give her the courage to face anything. He tells them it's in his closet and to follow the royal path.
Elena and Isabel enter the closet and find it a place that they can't make heads or tails of. Eventually, they run into the Grumpy Butterfrog. The Grumpy Butterfrog tells Isabel to find the Jaguar King. He tells her she must go through the maze to find him and must bring him the crown jewel at the top of the maze to trade for the Heart of the Jaguar. He also tells Isabel that if she wants to be right to stay left. During the journey through the maze, Elena gets turned into a baby Jaquin who helps Isabel get the crown jewel. When Isabel meets the Jaguar King, he rejects the trade and traps her somewhere dark.
The dark place turns out to be Isabel's Exergroomer where she meets Peaches and Paco who help Isabel find her courage and escape the Exergroomer. Isabel's newfound courage when she confronts the Jaguar King and demands he return Elena to normal impresses the Jaguar King who agrees to the trade. Elena is returned to normal and she and Isabel are returned to Quita Moz. Quita Moz tells Isabel that the Heart of the Jaguar is the courage that has been inside her all along. She just needed to learn to believe in herself.
