Christian Dominic Borle is an American actor, voice actor, singer, and dancer. For Disney, he voiced Slickwell in the Sofia the First episode "Baileywhoops", Father in the Tangled: The Series episode "Freebird", a bridge troll in Johnny and the Sprites, and Lucky in Lucky Duck. He was also a replacement Bert in the Broadway production of Mary Poppins and played Black Stache in Disney Theatrical Productions' Peter and the Starcatcher.
Borle was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and developed an interest in acting following a school production. He attended the School of Drama at Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 1995. After he graduated, he moved to New York City and landed his first acting job whie working as an elf at Macy's Santaland. Since then, Borle has appeared in productions of West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, Footloose, Prodigal, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Spamalot, Legally Blonde, On the Town, Angels in America, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Falsettos, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Me and My Girl, The Who's Tommy, Little Shop of Horrors, and Some Like It Hot. He won two Tony Awards for his roles as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher and as William Shakespeare in Something Rotten!.
While primarily a stage actor, Borle appeared in films, such as Blackhat and The Bounty Hunter. His television credits include Law & Order, Smash, The Good Wife, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Younger, Elementary, The Good Fight, Prodigal Son, and NBC's live productions of The Sound of Music and Peter Pan. He is also the voice of Vox from the Amazon Prime Adult-Animated series, Hazbin Hotel.
