Synopsis for "'The Wild Hunt' Finale"

Boston, Massachusetts, USA

As the Cheetah and Hera fight, the Silencer argues with Wonder Woman about the right course of action and whom she should support. Using the Lasso of Truth, she binds the goddess and villain to her mind, where she confronts both of them for manipulating her. Perceiving the truth allows her to regain control of the Lasso, which she uses to bind the Cheetah and force her to confront how misguided she has been, becoming one and the same with the gods she so much hated for influencing her destiny. She admits that she has been blind, agreeing to submit in loving friendship to Diana and returns Wonder Woman's Tiara but she also lashes out violently at Hera one last time, throwing a blade that misses her and stabs the Silencer through the shoulder. Wonder Woman tells Hera that she no longer needs her guidance and that Wonder Woman from now on must find her mission following her heart alone, so the goddess disappears, telling Diana that only time will tell if she's right. After Diana offers The Silencer an opportunity to learn the ways of Themyscira and to be healed by Amazon surgeons, the two discuss about their moral codes, with Silencer telling Diana that she learned to respect her ways, so she thinks Diana should do as much. With a bond of respect between one another, Silencer tends to her wounds as Wonder Woman leaves for Themyscira.

Themyscira, the Armory of the Amazons

When she arrives home, she gives the God Killer to Orana for custody, then chooses new weapons to bring with her: the sword of Extoristos, an Amazon exile who redeemed herself during the American revolution, to remind herself that no one is beyond redemption. and the shield of Alcippe, founder of the Amazons of Bana-Mighdall and rebel, to remember to always question power. With her new mission in her heart, Diana meets her mother Hippolyta who helps her forge new Bracelets of Submission out of the fragments of Hippolyta's own old bracelets, shattered by Herakles in the uprising that freed the Amazons. They are made of a special metal called Amazonium, found by the Amazons in the ground of Themyscira. Proud of her daughter for finding a new focus and mission, she gives her an embrace before Diana returns to Man's World.

The world of Men, in the city of Boston

Back to her apartment in Boston, Diana is not welcomed by friends, but from an agent who tells her she is under arrest.
