In the 21st century of a possible future, Rokej is the descendant of the Joker.

History

Batman and Robin are accidentally sent from their native time period of 1950 to the Gotham City of 2050. They mistake GCPD Chief Rokej for his notorious ancestor the Joker. Rokej explains to them that he chose to abide by the law in order to atone for his ancestor's sins. The Dynamic Duo and Chief Rokej earn each nother's trust when they work together to thwart a band of space pirates. The pirates were led by Erkham, who was behind industrial sabotage at the Comet spacecraft company.

Notes

• This version of Rokej, including all history and corresponding appearances, was erased from existence following the collapse of the original Multiverse in the 1985–86 Crisis on Infinite Earths event and later restored following the rebirth of the infinite Multiverse during the Dark Crisis of 2022-2023. Even though other versions of the character may have appeared, this information does not apply to those versions.
