The Odessa Mob, also known as The Solntsevskaya Bratva or simply Bratva, is a powerful Russian Mafia organization.
History
Post-No Man's Land and prior to the great gang war, the Odessa Mob was the most brutal of the gangs and cared only about making money.[1] It's leader Vasily Kosov was a ruthless, brutal savage who dismembered his victims and would send their parts to his enemies.[2] The syndicate sold drugs that were supplied by the Escabedo Cartel and laundered the money for both of them.[3] Vasily was killed by the Triad leader Ekin Tzu and the Odessa Mob was thrown into disarray during a gang war brought about by the manipulations of Ra's Al Ghul's operative Whisper.[4]
Like the other syndicates and gangs, it was involved in the the great gang war accidentally started by Spoiler.[5] After fighting other mobs, she was forced to ally with Black Mask who had killer her bodyguards.[6] She then pledged the loyalty of her mob to the Black Mask.[7] After pledging loyalty to Black Mask, the Odessa Mob moved against the Hill Gang, because it wasn't part of Sionis' crime network. The Odessa Mob was defeated in the battle and their leader, Alexandra was humiliated by Onyx, the current leader of the Hill Gang.[8]
