For a brief period of time, it was the adoptive home of Aquaman, Mera and Aqualad. The heroes operated out of New Venice during a time when Aquaman had relinquished the throne of Atlantis.

New Venice is a small coastal community located on Eastern seaboard of Southern Florida.

History

For a brief period of time, it was the adoptive home of Aquaman, Mera and Aqualad. The heroes operated out of New Venice during a time when Aquaman had relinquished the throne of Atlantis. Several years ago, New Venice was the target of a massive assault wrought by Aquaman's evil brother Ocean Master.[1]

Following Ocean Master's attack, all of New Venice sunk beneath the sea.
