Joseph Wayne was Bruce Wayne's twin brother.

History

When their father and mother died, Joseph went insane, and became the Joker, while Bruce became Batman.

Penguin set a bounty on the Joker, and the Czarnian bounty hunter Lobo came to Earth to collect it, but the Joker paid him a larger sum to discredit Batman and destroy his reputation before finally killing him.
