Synopsis for Green Lantern: "The Man Who Couldn't Tell the Truth"
George Anderson Fib lives up to his name by being a congenital liar. He's fired from his job when the office safe is found open the next morning when he was the last one to leave. His girlfriend leaves him for being a no-good liar, and even when Fib manages to cross paths with Green Lantern and the hero agrees to help him look into the matter of the safe, Fib makes up a whopper about being the target of a Nazi conspiracy because of vital defense secrets he has. He can't even tell Green Lantern where he actually lives so the hero might be able to help him. When they visit his former workplace, Lantern and Doiby interrupt a robbery, and think Fib was trying to lure them into a trap.
They walk into a real trap tracking down the thieves, and Green Lantern's knocked out by a wooden crate falling on his head. The crooks leave them tied up with poison dripping down onto their faces. Imminent death scares Fib into overcoming his lying ways and he finally tells the truth. They go back to Fib's workplace and look through the safe. Lantern determines the thieves had been looking through the records in the safe to find where to rob the valuable chemicals they've been stealing, and more than that, Fib finds his former girlfriend's locket inside the safe, although he doesn't tell Lantern and Doiby for the moment. He confronts his ex, who says the watchman promised he could fix the broken locket, and Fib realizes the watchman was the real head of the ring. Fib, and eventually Green Lantern and Doiby, track the watchman down to a boat and catch the thieves. Lantern orders Fib to go to another city and start over, and give up his lying ways.
Later, Fib's telling his son the importance of honesty. Still, nobody believes his story about helping to thwart a group of thieves. Not even his guest, Alan Scott.

Synopsis for Scribbly: "Falsely Accused"
We are offered to imagine a world where Scribbly & Dinky are horses & Ma Hunkel & Sisty are chickens for this story as we find Scribbly spy a dapper goose with a cigar. He yearns for the cigar & he soon finds a lit cigar lying in the street. Scribbly goes to smoke it in an alleyway behind a trash can, but Dinky & Sisty soon discover this & inform Ma Hunkel about it, mostly because they want to beat Scribbly senseless to teach him a lesson. Once in costume, the Terrific Trio approach & the Red Tornado offers the simpler tactic of letting Scribbly smoke himself sick due to not knowing how to actually smoke a cigar correctly, but find only a larger growing smoke cloud around them. Growing impatient, they round the corner & find that Scribbly is unconscious and a crow claiming to be a doctor says he "saved" Scribbly's life (by just taking the cigar & smoking it himself) & demands $2 from the Red Tornado for his services. They all collapse in the smoke next to Scribbly, wondering if they should just mind their own business next time...
