Earth-19 is one of the fifty-one divergent realities that branched from the core New Earth reality during the recreation of the Multiverse shortly following the events of Infinite Crisis. In this universe, Earth is still in the Industrial Revolution. This alternate world has its own version of Gotham City, complete with steampunk versions of Batman and his villains gallery.

- This is one of the post-Infinite Crisis universes of the Pre-Flashpoint Multiverse. It is the setting of the Elseworlds story, Gotham by Gaslight.
- In Absolute Crisis on Infinite Earths, the Hypertime version of Earth-19 is known as Earth-1889.
- Some of the continuity of Earth-19 was partly merged into Earth 19 in the Post-Flashpoint Multiverse.
- Characters from Earth-19 appear as playable characters in the Infinite Crisis video game. These characters are Gaslight Batman and Gaslight Joker. Gaslight Catwoman, who hasn't ever appeared in any of the comics, also appears in game.
