El Diablo was a fire-wielding super villain who was captured and forced to join Amanda Waller's Suicide Squad.

History

After the fall of Superman's Regime, the Squad was commandeered by Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins, and Diablo was forced to participate in their scheme to eradicate part of the human population.

During a fight with Blue Beetle, El Diablo was hit by the hero's energy blast, causing his chest-fire to backfire and set fire to the base. El Diablo, unable to contain his energy, exploded, seemingly killing him.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

• Pyrokinesis: El Diable can control and project flames.

Weaknesses

• Power Instability: If El Diablo is accidentally supercharged with energy, he can't control his powers and erupts in a nuclear size explosion that even he can't survive.
