• This comic issue was published by Charlton Comics, a defunct comic book publishing firm owned by Charlton Publications. DC Comics acquired the rights to most of Charlton's super-hero characters in 1983.
• Production of this comic began with the intention to publish it as issue 6 of Blue Beetle (Volume 5) but it was never finished or published. It was eventually reprinted for the first time in the fanzine Charlton Portfolio #9&10 in 1974 and was later included in The Action Heroes Archives Vol. 2.
